Pine Gap, near Alice Springs in the heart of Australia, is a secretive military installation, and home to operatives from an international collective of agencies colloquially known as the Second Inquisition. Here we find our team of hunters embedded in the Australian arm of this operation.

Tristan
Designation: Inquisitive Creed Hunter
To the ranks of agents and researchers in his employ, Professor Tristan Baum is the Leader of the Second Inquisition research facility, The Ark. Responsible for safeguarding humanity from not only supernatural influence but also from the violent potential of the Second Inquisition itself, they also ensure that the goal of his facility is research, education and understanding, as opposed to extermination and destruction. He views the supernatural as something to be understood and to find a path to peaceful coexistence, instead of a force to be conquered.
But behind closed doors, the memories of a world long passed and the debt undertaken to create this new world continue to haunt him.

Dr Yue
Designation: Boneflower - Quincunx court
Dr Yue is a gifted medical professional with a history. Catching the eye of the Inquisition, she survived a raid where she was killed as she operated, her patient still open on the table as she lay bleeding on the ground. As she breathed the Second Breath, rising as one of the Hungry Dead, she left the employ of the Inquisition and fled Australia, only to return some years later with the blessing of her elders.
She now offers her Kuei Jin Quincunx court Boneflower insights and specialties, combined with her medical knowledge, to aid the Pine Gap installation and the Second Inquisition group as they investigate Alice Springs and what is making heart of Australia bleed.

Mr Locke
Designation: Martial Creed Hunter
Officer Locke was up-and-coming in the police force when she discovered the things that go bump in the night had much sharper teeth than she'd ever imagined. Headhunted by the SI, Locke quickly proved herself in the field, earning the 'Mr." designation assigned to field agents.
On the career path, it seemed there was no stopping this woman's rise until-
A desertion of ranks. A bungled job. A demotion.
After that, Mr. Locke found themselves winging their way back and forth across the country to assist with the formation of SI outposts nationwide, the mythos around this woman of few words only seeming to grow.
Today, Mr. Locke has been called to Pine Gap to lend her tactical ability to the spinifex cell. But are her stoic silences the calling card of a pertinacious agent or that of a troubled mind? Only time will tell.

Tanya Pert
Designation: Inquisitive Creed Hunter
An explosives expert with a shattered past, Tanya was collected by RE:Vengeance after destroying her own idilic life. Tanya struggled to find her feet until the Second Inquisition put her in a lab and let her get to work.
Now she has basically taken over the R&D department, specialising in weaponry and gear for the organisation she has found something of a new home with.
Thankful for the opportunity to get her life back on track, Tanya now hunts the targets of the SI, but her actualy family and home are never far from her mind. Is this the mission that could send her back to them? And if it is, will it be as a well-adjusted person, or in a box?
